Method
Freight is the load in tonnes times the rate per tonne for the road distance from Tehran to the destination. The rate per tonne comes from Ahantime's distance-based freight schedule, interpolated linearly between its distances; the rate for each city is in the table on this page.
Loading and unloading, the weighbridge and cargo insurance are separate rows inside the freight total. Insurance is a share of the load value and is included once the value is entered. This is the calculation the price pages use for the landed cost.
The rate is per tonne and does not change with the truck. The truck table only says what carries your load and how many: the load divided by the permitted load, rounded up, on a bed at least as long as the longest piece.
Bed lengths and permitted loads follow the loading-capacity table for steel carriers published in Iran's steel trade. Freight is separate from the goods and is never added to the proforma amount.
